What if I don't have a typewriter to type all of the forms, as required by most all of the Courts?

You have the option of purchasing our fill-in-online forms which, as they are called, can be filled out right on the screen of your computer, then printed out on your home or office printer, ready to file (hence our name Courtready.com® ). Also... even our basic fill-in-the-blank forms will come with your name, address, phone number and the other party's name pre-printed in every required location (approximately 50 entries in a typical forms package).

What if I purchase "fill-in-the-blank" forms from your website and screw them up. Will I need to pay full price to purchase another set?

No. If you purchase "fill-in-the-blank" forms, we recommend that you an extra set of documents before you begin typing on them, that way if you make mistakes, you will have you originals. If you forget or fail to do this, you can log back into the website, pay a small fee, and print out a new set.

After you have filed your documents with the court, and for whatever reason (i.e.: other party will agree... if you make certain minor changes), and you want or need to file an Amended Complaint or Petition, you can just log back into Courtready.com® , click on the type of legal forms that you purchased, click on [Amend], enter you original "personal identification number" [PIN], make the desired changes or corrections. I have found other websites that claim they can provide the paper-work for an Idaho divorce, why should I choose you?

Primarily because... as far as we know, we are the only Idaho based website, which gives us the advantage of being familiar with Idaho's particular forms, rules and procedures. Some out-of-state websites claim to offer forms for all states, nut in our experience (over 12 years & having prepared more that 4,000 Idaho divorces), their forms usually don't work... and they are more expensive. Why take a chance on getting burned. We also provide lots of other legal forms besides divorce, like modifications for when things change, and contept-of-court for when the other party doesn't follow the divorce decree. Pus, we can help you with all of the other legal matters listed to the right.

I had a child outside of marriage, and the mother won't allow me any visitation... does Courtready.com®  have forms that will help me to establish my custody and visitation rights?

We can provide you all of the forms needed to establish paternity, legal and physical custody, visitation and the parties' respective child support obligations. If you and the mother signed an Acknowledgment of Paternity at the hospital, or if you were ordered by the Department of Health & Welfare to pay child support or reimburse the state for the birth cost of you child, you half-way there. If paternity has been established, click on [Custody], if not yet officially established, click on [Paternity].

My boyfriend and I had a baby together, we no longer get along, and I am afraid that if I allow him to take the child for visitation, he won't bring the baby back... does Courtready.com®  have forms that will protect me?

Basically, same answer as above. Either parent may file to establish the parties' respective legal custody and visitation rights. Otherwise, neither one of you has legal or physical custody, and the police will not help either one of you until there is a court order in place starting where or with whom the child is supposed to be on any given date and time.

Can I use Courtready.com®  to help me obtain modification of my existing child custody and/or child support obligation?

We can't guarantee that the court will grant exactly the relief that you request, however we can guarantee that with our forms you will be able to file you request with the Court and have a hearing, all without having to retain an attorney to represent you. In order to qualify for a modification, the Court requires that you establish that there has been a material and substantial change in circumstances since the order was entered, or since it was lost modified.

What if the language on you forms just doesn't adequately allow me to describe my situation, or provide a solution for what I want to accomplish?

You may contact our sister-company Self-Help Alternatives at (208) 344-3208 for a more custom solution. There are no attorneys there either, but they are able to make extensive changes to the forms that are not possible in our website format.

If I don't understand all of the legal ramifications of filing documents in the Court, can you give my any legal advice?

No... we are not attorneys, and therefore we are not allowed to give you any specific legal advice - but... if you question is a general question, or a procedural question, we can probably provide you with sufficient information or direct you to other resources to resolve your questions(s).

Will my documents be reviewed by a lawyer?

No. We are not a law office, and have no lawyers in our employ (that's why we can offer this service so cheaply!) We have tried to provide good forms with good instructions, so that a lawyer should be unnecessary. All of the forms on this website have been used successfully for many years in Idaho. If you believe that you need to have your documents reviewed, contact us, and we may be able refer you to a licensed attorney who will review them for a small fee.

Are the Court's filing fees included in the cost of forms purchased on this website?

No. We are not affiliated with the Court (although, unknown to the, their employees frequently recommend us). Click on Court Fees above for the Court's current fee schedule. The fee schedule is very lengthy and confusing, so we recommend that you first click on the legal category to the right, then click on CourtFees and you will be taken directly to the fees for that type of matter.
